Hello again crew! Bumping this one with price drop! Up for sale is a rare new old stock neo-vintage Seiko V739-5880 “Tank”. Seiko has done a lot of rectangle watch designs over the years but most of them are sized for smaller / female wrists. With a larger case design of 30mm wide x 40mm lug to lug and only about 7mm thick, this wears truly like a Cartier Tank at a fraction of the cost! This case also has 20mm lugs, so it will be an absolute strap monster especially for thin straps like Delugs. Condition wise it is true dead stock; in fact it was sourced from a European AD and comes with a brand new stamped warranty card from 5/23/23! The case has some minor hairlines in the polished portions and slight flea-bite nicks from handling (most notably at 4 o’clock, 8 o’clock and 9 o’clock on the case, please refer to the pictures), probably from being handled in a display case somewhere. The crystal has no noticeable scratches or flaws. The V739 quartz movement is operating well and the date is setting as it should. Not having a seconds hand kind of makes it feel like you are wearing an automatic ha. I do not know the status of the battery, so bear that in mind. The bracelet has no flaws or desk diver marks as it was never won, in fact it still has some of the plastics on it. Overall, the watch presents beautifully as an unworn example of a really cool, rare neo-vintage watch. The watch wears awesome on the wrist, super thin and comfortable. I REALLY want to take the bracelet off and try it on a strap, but I wanted to leave it to the next owner to be the first one to remove the bracelet.The sale will come with the outer and inner boxes, papers (including newly stamped warranty card!) and the watch on OEM bracelet.
