This piece is in very good condition, with a tiny bit of wear to the legend **under** the bakelite between the pip and the 5min marker. The bakelite itself is not cracked anywhere. Width without the original signed crown is 40.5mm, a very substantial diver from that era. The coin edge is in beautiful shape with a tiny dent near the 30min mark. IMO, these are only imperfections you would notice if you were looking for them (not to mention this is a 51 year-old timepiece and should have at least a little character). The hands, pots and pip all have a bit of lume-life left in them. The watch was given a cleaning and new gasket by my watchmaker (Montana Clock Shop). Haven't timed it but the watch winds and runs smoothly with a beautiful second-hand sweep. The date changes over as it should at midnight. These pieces are increasingly hard to find and routinely sell for $900+ on eBay. I'm listing this one for $850 because I think that's a fair price, given the market.
