Tissot added the Sonorous edition to expand the PR model range in 1972, Sonorous is Tissot’s name for their alarm watches. This particular model has its original driving ring (uncommon as those that surfaced had theirs removed or are in poor condition). This watch is built like a tank, short lugs and thick steel case makes it the perfect tool watch. The watch features a neon orange seconds hand and red alarm hand that contrasts well against the beautiful blue dial. Six holes present in the caseback allows for the alarm sound to resonate loudly. The first crown sets and winds up the alarm function while the second sets and winds time. Refer to IG linked below to see a video of the alarm sounding! Specs + Condition 35mm with crown, has a lot of wrist presence due to the thicker case Alam sets and wind no problems. Time sets and wind no problems Crystal has a mark at 7 o'clock but overall scratch free Case is in excellent vintage condition considering this is from the 70s, high polish still visible from the sides of the case with original brushed polishing still very evident along the face of the case. The bi-directional friction diving bezel is in good condition, rotates freely and has a faint but visible lume.
