Up for sale today is a handsome and beautiful Chopard L.U.C Mark III Classic 16/8500. You would be very hard-pressed to find another watch with this level of finishing and quality of movement for the price. The dial, the hands, the numbers and indices, the case… it’s all gorgeous and very high quality. Then there’s the movement. This has the in-house 3.96 calibre which is a variant of the prestigious and renowned 1.96 calibre. It has a 22k gold micro-rotor, twin barrels with 65 hour power reserve, and COSC chronometer certification. The finishing is extremely impressive and puts movements in much more expensive watches to shame. This is a world-class movement. The watch is in excellent condition with only very minor hairline scratches and swirls on the polished case. I would consider it close to near-mint condition. The watch is running really strong and accurate as evidenced by the timegrapher readout photo. The service history is unknown. The rotor is a little noisy, but that is not uncommon. The sale comes with the outer and inner boxes, dated certificate of origin, and manual. The original strap is not included, but a custom ostrich leather one is.
