Seiko Prospex Monster SRPD27 \------------------------- **Description:** Excellent watch keeping great time. So great that I have purchased this watch two times now. Though I love its build quality, utilitarian dive-vibes, and its comfortable wearing rubber strap, I just don’t wear it. The same reason I sold the first one haha. Perhaps, one day, I’ll learn my lesson. Anyhow, the watch came to me from its original owner back in June of 2023. When it arrived I noticed the bezel was “mushy” in operation. I decided to fix that by removing the bezel and fixing the click-spring. It worked like a charm and the bezel is nice and clicky now with little to no backplay. As a result, however, there is a bit of marring on the 9 o’clock side of the case from removing the extremely difficult-to-remove bezel. I’ve removed many a bezel, but the tolerances on this one take the cake. I have done my best to show the marring in photos (see linked album). It looks horrendous under macro, but looking at it on-wrist and in “normal’ images it goes pretty unnoticed. **Pricing already reflects the case condition.** This would make an excellent “beater”/every day watch, and/or an excellent dive watch.
