[IMGur Album.](https://imgur.com/a/86gDSGG) **General Info:** The Hamilton Traffic Special model was introduced in 1927 and was produced up until WW2 when domestic pocket watch construction was halted. After the war, Hamilton did not have a suitable movement but wanted to bring back the Traffic Special, so they contracted Cortebert of Switzerland to provide them with a 17-jewel movement that was suitable for the task. This particular example would have been made sometime between 1955 and 1957, being a 669 marked movement, typically referred to as a type #1 or #2. The watch is all original, being complete with it's Hamilton dial, movement, and Hamilton marked gold plated case. Service history is unknown, but there are a few service marks on the inside of the caseback and I've attached accuracy reports in 3 different positions to the above album. The watch is running strong and accurately. I recently did a light polishing of the case and crystal, and the watch chain is included. These watches were often carried by city bus drivers as they did not have a need for a more expensive railroad grade watch. The only issue I'm aware of with this watch is that the Melamine dial has started showing signs of shrinking/cracks but these are purely cosmetic. **Movement:** 17 Jewel, size 19-Ligne movement made in Switzerland by Cortebert. **Case:** Hamilton Watch Co, 10k rolled gold/fill. **Movement Serial #:** None present. **Price:** $175 including Ground Advantage shipping. **Payment Methods:** Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, CashApp. I will not accept G&S unless you have references.
