Up for sale Omega Speedmaster “Pre-moon” Ref. 145.022-69. I didn’t intend to sell this one but went on a buying binge recently and need to sell a few pieces.

The 30 Million serial dates the watch to about July of 1970. This particular example is in overall nice condition and makes for a great daily. The Pre-moon step dial is clean with what appears to be attractive original lume. The case features nice angles with correct brushing, and wear consistent with age. There is one notable dent on the side of the top right lug but the rest is mostly hairline scratches. The caseback has seen some polishing and the speedmaster logo is light but still visible upon close inspection. It seems like the pushers are service(?) replacements.

The movement appears to be clean and in good visual condition. The watch has no known service history, but it currently keeps time and operates properly. When running for a bit, I see some signs of chrono creep, which a service would rectify. The watch also has luminova service hands and I suspect it may have gone in for a factory service at some point in the past two decades or so. It features an early (1970s?) DNN tachymeter bezel that has lightly ghosted. However, I have other bezels that could be potentially swapped in for an added cost (Ex. DON, Pulsations, Steel).
