For sale is my Alpina Startimer Heritage GMT Automatic Watch in As-New condition with original outer and inner box. I received it as a gift, and only laid it on my wrist. I had placed it on the watch-winder for a week to test it, and it is keeping excellent time. It has a lot of wrist presence but wears compact due to the no-lug design.
It is a fantastic and very handsome watch with just the perfect modern case size and vintage vibes. The fit and finish is actually extremely high compared to other entry-level priced Swiss watches. I will say it punches way above its weight class, and for the price it is unbeatable in my opinion!
The value proposition jumps even higher since the movement is literally a "semi in-house" design, which uses a Sellita base movement with an in-house GMT module that controls a local time jumping hour function. So awesome!
It is hard to find a unique "Swiss Made" watch with real brand heritage that dates back to the late 1800s, accurate Swiss GMT movement, and applied/faceted hour markers in this price point.
The watch is all original. The wife said she paid $800 for it.
