On the block is a gorgeous fluted bezel example of a Datejust II from 2009 with, in my opinion, one of the cooler now discontinued dials from Rolex (check out that lume shot!). The Datejust II is a robust design that gave way to the Datejust 41 we see today, it was the first time Rolex tried out a 41mm case size on a Datejust. This resulted in an excellent all around watch that is elegant enough to dress up, and chunky enough for sport/activity.
