If it was 5% smaller, I'd likely be selling my orion calamity instead, this thing is that good. [This review does a great job of laying out the history of the watch and the brand](https://oracleoftime.com/ollech-wajs-p-101-s-watch-review/). O&W is a small scale swiss brand that traces its history back to the 1950s, and made very popular field watches in the Apocalypse Now era. They also produced some awesome divers and chronos through the 60s and 70s. And if you're a fan of vintage-y watches that aren't too big or bulky, this is worth a serious look. It blends a very purposeful pilot's aesthetic (ala Sinn), with a bit of a skindiver vibe. Big signed crown. Slim midcase with compartively long lugs, and great finishing befitting a watch that retails in the low 4-figure range. Brushed detailing on the hands (and that ladder minute hand!) and index frames, plus the "not quite black" color to the dial stand out too. A few modern materials make their way in without messing with the vintage vibe - black PVD for the bi-directional friction fit bezel, and swiss superluminova on the dial and handset. Watch comes with the full kit - inner / outer box, pillow, signed bag, and the guarantee card. **Condition** A few near-impossible-to-photograph signs of wear. There's a tiny scratch to the left of the crown on the side of the case, and another on the underside of one lug. There's a few small pinprick disruptions in the brushing here and there, and a few small marks on the caseback. bezel and crystal look superb. Crown action is wonderful (this thing has the nicest feeling screw-down crown i've come across in a long time) Watch looks great on the wrist! **Specs** * 316L stainless steel case, brushed top with sides * 39.5mm diameter; Lug to lug - 49.5mm * 12.5mm to the top of the box sapphire crystal, but wears thinner due to mid-case design * 20mm lugs * 30ATM/300 metres/1000 feet * Screw back, screw down crown, drilled lugs * ETA 2824-2 movement - 25J, 28,800 BPH, date at 6. * Swiss Superlumonva * Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the underside
