Good afternoon, WatchEx! Just one today - a special piece from my personal collection, the Omega SMP 300 Nekton. An excellent subject to test out my new camera 😉 I'll be honest, I never expected to part with this beaut. This very watch was my first true "grail" purchase back in 2022, a reward I gave myself after chasing a new career opportunity from South Dakota to Washington state. I have a personal rule of "if you're even considering selling it, list it" - so here we are. There's really nothing I don't like about this watch, but I haven't been wearing it a lot lately. On to the watch. This special edition SMP has long been my favorite Omega diver from an aesthetic standpoint - the slate grey ceramic dial pairs absolutely perfectly with the red seconds hand and titanium relief bezel insert. One of my favorite watches of all time was always the Oris Aquis Relief (I've owned it probably 7-8 times now), and this really felt like the grown-up version of that. I've had some incredible adventures and experiences with this watch, and I'm excited to send it to a new home that can appreciate it like I have over the past couple of years. It's in excellent condition with some scarce hairline marks to high-polish areas, and a few very light lines on brushed finishes. Photos show excruciating detail, there should be no surprises here!
