5.09 serial number circa 1977 production.

The watch is fresh-to-market. I gently buffed the crystal, but the rest of the watch is left in as found condition. Nothing has been replaced, refinished, removed or added.

Excellent vintage condition case with very strong lugs and crown guards. Fully legible numbers. The lugs probably have been polished in past, but also the chamfers appear factory, so its very light.

Original MK1 dial is in flawless condition with original hands. No relume, no refinish. “Eggshell” coloring of patina.

Bezel insert is original with fat fonts. The bezel pip was evidently replaced at some point, its luminova and briefly glows still after exposure to intense light or UV.

Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 13 links, diver’s extension, moderate stretch from use, correct 580 ends, H date code.

No box or papers. The watch has no known service history and currently shows about -18 seconds with ~240 amplitude. If you plan to wear this watch daily, a service is recommended for better performance.
