The ref. 16234 was among the first five-digit offerings within the Datejust family, and importantly one of the first to also use a sapphire crystal. It also featured the jumping date and the newly updated Cal. 3135 movement. The watch is in excellent condition, with light hairline marks on the case and some light to moderate stretch on the bracelet, fitting wrists up to 7.25”.
