Good day all. Up for sale is a classic - an original Omega 1959 561 Ref. 14393 Constellation Black Pie Pan Dial with a yellow gold crosshair and matched dauphine hands and markers.

I love this watch and will regret letting it go, but I've recently purchased two black Constellations that are even more rare and I have decided the sell 14393 to keep the size of my collection manageable,

The Details

Omega Constellation
Reference: 14393
Movement: Caliber 561 automatic with semi quickset date. Timing second 8+ to 16+ over 24 hours.
Serial: 17441217
Year: 1959
Case: 34mm, stainless steel
Dial: Original unrefinished black pie pan dial and a yellow gold crosshair and matched dauphine hands (lumed) and markers. Framed date window at the three o'clock position.
Strap; Black alligator with an Omega original vintage steel clasp.

Condition

Dial, Bezel & Hands: The dial and bezel are in good condition and correct for the reference. As with nearly every vintage black dials, there is some deterioration, but it is generally seen only in bright sunlight in some places. The gold hands and markers are both in good condition. The date window is also in good condition and works properly.

Case: Original stainless steel case with a diameter of 34mm, a lug to lug measurement of 42mm and a lug width of 18mm. The overall condition of the case is very good. I don't believe that it has been polished. The case back is in good condition The gold symbol on the case back is the Cupola of the Geneva Observatory and all eight of the stars are well preserved.

Crown: The crown is correct annd in good condition

Crystal: The crystal appears to be a generic replacement.

Accessories

This watch includes a box Constellation. I do not have the original paperwork.
