The dial is the real showstopper — fully lumed and beautifully aged to a creamy tone, it glows like a torch in the dark. Sized at 37mm wide, 11.5mm thick, and lug to lug of 40.2mm. Like other Superior models, the engraved lion caseback is a standout touch — a nod to Seiko’s higher ambitions for this line, placing it above the typical Seiko 5s. Powering it is the automatic 7S36 movement, with day/date complication and reliable timekeeping. This watch is in good condition for its age — dial and hands are clean, case shows some light wear, and the crystal is scratch-free. It’s been recently serviced and is running well.
