Hi everyone, Selling a 1956 Omega Constellation ref. 2852 – steel case, pie-pan crosshair dial and white-gold arrowhead markers, running on the chronometer-rated cal. 505. It was serviced by my watchmaker in April 2025 and has been keeping good time and winding smoothly since. The main thing to know up front: **the dial is in rough cosmetic shape**. There’s obvious edge damage and spotting all over, so this is priced and offered as a well-used Constellation for someone who’s okay with heavy patina rather than a clean collector piece. **Condition** **Dial:** Original silver pie-pan crosshair dial with applied Omega logo and white-gold arrowhead markers. Strong patina and moisture damage around the outer ring, plus spotting and marks across the surface and near the hands. Printing is still legible and furniture is sharp, but overall the dial is poor cosmetically. Please look closely at the macro shots. **Case:** Stainless-steel dog-leg case, approx. 34.5mm (excluding crown) with 18mm lugs. Honest wear and surface scratches from use, but the lugs still show their facets and the shape is intact. Screw-back with gold observatory medallion; medallion shows aging/oxidation yet the observatory and stars remain visible. **Crown:** Signed Omega decagonal crown. Winding and time-setting work as they should. **Movement:** Omega cal. 505 automatic chronometer movement. Fully serviced in April 2025; running well, keeping good time and winding smoothly in hand and on the wrist. Date-less version, so one less complication to worry about.
