Offered here is a rare ‘90s Seiko SCVF001 Titanium “Air Diver” with extra links. Inside ticks the venerable caliber 4s15; the 4S series succeeded the 52XX movements popularized by King Seiko and proceeded the current 8L/9S used in Grand Seiko. In other words, an important movement of extinguished pedigree. This particular example was sent to Seiko for servicing by the previous owner and keeps great time. The monocoque titanium case and crystal exhibit a history of desk diving, but nothing severe. Nice bezel action with little play; however, it is ever so slightly to the left.
