I'm offering my Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master LE Ti big date auto diver. It's in excellent condition and I've seen none finer in several years. One of 900 made, it's a unique dive watch not often seen anywhere, let alone for sale. Was another PVD coated Swiss titanium big date dive watch ever made (not to mention having a display back and 500 meters WR)?

I love the easily read big date and the dial details such as the checkered carbon fiber perimeter ring. The high quality, high beat Swiss movement hand winds silently with the large screw down crown. It has a water resistance rating of 1650 feet yet still offers a display back. Through that can be seen a nicely decorated movement.

Many titanium dive watches with rotating bezels exhibit more coarse bezel action than steel watches, but not this one. It rotates evenly and smoothly, having 120 clicks and the perfect amount of resistance. There's zero back play.

There are only a few minor marks to the PVD. Except for some bracelet wear there's no wear through of the PVD that I can see, except for perhaps a tiny scratch at one lug end. I've attempted to show all wear. There's some small marks at the back of one lug from strap changes but the others seem perfect. There are some small brushes to the left of the bezel lume triangle that you may not be able to see, and a superficial scratch on the side of one lug. Still, I'd say the watch head is 95% or better.

The ETA 2896 movement is running remarkably well with timegrapher numbers comparable to a new watch. The timing is a consistent +12 secs/day with an amplitude of 306, and zero beat error. The 2 graph trace lines are tight, consistent, straight, and almost as one. A watchmaker could easily adjust the timing to near zero if desired.

The case and bracelet, including the clasp are titanium and weigh only 139 grams. Sized for me the weight is 131 which is very light for a 43 mm watch. It's a larger watch with commanding wrist presence, but a combination of its design and black finish make it appear smaller and without ostentation. It wears small for this size and is very comfortable.

Victorinox created a top quality and unique watch here. Though their other watches at the time typically came with 3 year warranties, they backed this one for 5 years (though it proved to be unnecessary). Even the packaging is top grade. My Sinn and Fortis watches from this era had hard paper or faux leather vinyl boxes. And even though they were stored in dark, cool places they broke down and deteriorated. Not so with the Victorinox packaging. The hard, satin black box is formed from wood and in perfect condition, as are all the paper components. Plus they've added badging inside and out, and built in a latch.
