Hey WatchExchage, I’m selling my black dial Orient Star Seeker GMT here today. I posted this one before and I said at the time if it didn't sell that I wouldn't be that upset about it. I was right, after a week or 2 I put it back in the rotation and enjoyed it all over again. These aren't easy to find so I tried to price it fairly, but the price is somewhat negotiable. The watch is in really good shape. The only defects that I could find are around the underside of the bracelet and the clasp. There are some very minor marks on the clasp that I tried to capture in the photos. Movement: Orient caliber 40P50. Orient Star makes their own movement, and is decorated with a signed rotor and some perlage on the movement itself. The movement is self winding, but it can also be hand wound from one of the crowns on the side of the case. The GMT hand moves independently from the others which is pretty convenient. The case diameter is 41.5mm. The case height is 14mm, and the lug to lug is 49mm. The finishing on the case is very nice with a mixture of brushing and polishing, even the crown guard between the 2 crowns is brushed and polished. The lugs are reminiscent of Omega's twisted lugs to me. There is a large highly polished bevel that sweeps along the side of all the lugs. Crystal: It comes with a sapphire crystal on the top and on the case back to provide a look at the decorated movement. Dial: The dial is a stark black. The inner part of the dial is the deepest part of the dial and it steps up as you move towards the outside of the dial. Set in the deepest part of the dial you will find 24 hour markings and the power reserve indicator at 11 o’clock. The next step up is where you find the corrugated applied indices and the date window at 3 o’clock. Then finally you get to the chapter ring and the movable hour indicator around the very outside of the dial. This allows you to easily track 3 time zones and your power reserve.
