I am offering up for sale this superlative 50th Snoopy in absolute MINT condition and only worn for a small number of family occasions. It is a 9.9/10 by anyone's standards.

Most Speedy fans will have a good knowledge of the history behind these models but in brief this anniversary timepiece is a tribute to the “Silver Snoopy Award” that OMEGA received from NASA astronauts in 1970 as meaningful recognition of Omega's contributions to space exploration, including the Apollo 13 mission.

The blue strap, features the trajectory of the Apollo 13 mission embossed on the lining which is a very cool feature on its own. The silver dial has blue PVD hour markers and hands and is decorated with an embossed silver Snoopy medallion on the at 9 o’clock. subdial.

The caseback is "a vision of the far side of the moon has been decorated on the sapphire crystal using micro-structured metallisation. An animated Snoopy in his Command and Service Module (CSM) is shown on a magical hand, which rotates when the chronograph function is used. Behind, an Earth disc rotates once per minute in sync with the watch’s small seconds hand."

The caseback has a black engraved tribute to Apollo 13 and OMEGA's Snoopy Award.

The bezel ring is a blue ceramic [ZrO2] ring with a white enamel tachy scale.

It is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861.
