(Repost) For sale is a King Seiko 45-7000. 36,000 bph/10 beats per second in a classic “grammar of design” gold-plated case. The 4500A hand-wind, no-date movement is running strong and keeping good time at around +5/day on the wrist, although service history is unknown. I only have one of the TG computer timegraphers but I'm getting amplitudes around 210-230 at full wind, which is healthy for this movement IMO. Includes handmade brown leather strap, pictured. Gold medallion on back has a ding by the upper leg of the “K” but is in good condition. It has some imperfections—the dial has some marks around the 1-2 and 6-8 (tried to show them as best as I could) and the case has typical wear at the lug tips and behind the strap. Crystal is pretty clean but there are a few scratches if the light hits it just right. It’s a stunner in real life and the imperfections add more character than detract in my opinion, very fun to wind, wear, and watch the second hand glide around.
