For sale is my vintage 18k Grand Seiko 4522-8000, produced between 1969 and 1971. By case shape and texture, this piece bears some resemblance to the Seiko Astronomical Observatory, though the dial is different. This model was only ever produced in solid 18k gold, and I believe the production of precious metal pieces were limited to one month each year in the vintage era. This watch comes with a taupe colored leather saffiano Delugs strap. Condition: The overall condition of the case is very good, as its been unpolished and still retains some mirror like finish on the edges. The caseback has some normal light scratches but in great shape. The dial itself is in almost perfect condition, though the hardlex crystal has some light scratching on it. Price: $3850 USD.
