[WTS] blue Omega Seamaster GMT chronograph Aqua Terra (vertical teak, rare)
Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M (reference [231.10.43.52.03.001](https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-seamaster-aqua-terra-150m-co-axial-chronometer-gmt-chronograph-43-mm-23110435203001)) for sale. This is a very rare GMT chronograph (!) in the Seamaster line-up, offered in its most beautiful color here: *a beautiful dark Navy on steel*. It features a gorgeous deep blue dual-counter GMT dial (including a color-matched date window at 6 o’clock). It is in very good condition, both mechanically and aesthetically, with no clearly visible scratches and a crystal-clean lightly-domed sapphire. It is currently running at an amazing +3s. This rare GMT chronograph was originally sold by Omega into Japanese market, no surprise that **its condition is terrific**. Tim Mosso (from Watchbox fame) had this to say [in his review of this exact watch](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbVZm2lhVEM): It is “remarkably versatile and one of the least common Aqua Terra references! It’s the works.” The dial itself is a dark blue, surrounded by a uniquely inverted 3D réhaut & a high-polished conical bezel, trademark **AT three-dimensional vertical teak deck pattern**, with appliqué indices “as well as the applied Omega and GMT logo, which I find to be a rich and wonderful refinement, as the watch really looks and feels its price — *more, in fact*!” — [says Tim Mosso here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbVZm2lhVEM&t=174s). The **clear case back** shows the beautiful in-house Caliber 9605, a modern **Omega co-axial** movement of course, with a 60 hour power reserve, twin main spring barrels to maintain even amplitude and torque release, full balance bridge, free-sprung balance for shock resistance, and an Si-14 silicon hairspring for anti-magnetism. Arabesque Côtes de Genève across the bridges and plates marvelously finish this technical tour de force from the aesthetic perspective, all visible through the sapphire case back. *Offered at* ***$4,900*** *(Zelle) plus shipping*. (Located U.S. east coast. For comparison, please see the photo of the only 3 comparable eBay listings, which range from above my asking price to over $2,000 more. MSRP was $9,250, [see Omega site](https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-seamaster-aqua-terra-150m-co-axial-chronometer-gmt-chronograph-43-mm-23110435203001)). **More facts** about this unique & beautiful watch: * As a GMT, it shows two time zones, having a ‘traveler’ true GMT “jumping hour” hand. Super convenient when traveling, akin to the original 8500 movement in the Planet Oceans and their progeny. Here, the red 24-hour GMT arrow hand (in the 9 o’clock sub-dial) is even lumed…! Magnificent small details on this otherwise hefty and substantial watch. * Column-wheel chronograph with a vertical clutch (means: zero jumping of the chrono second hand when activating it; smooth operation; and you can leave the chronograph running indefinitely without incurring any damage or additional wear). * 150m water resistance, for the Aqua part… As Tim Mosso notes, it is a true "surf & turf" watch, suitable for land-based and water-related activites. * Gorgeous OEM Omega bracelet — for full asking price, I will include 3 (completely unworn / never installed) European straps matching the dial colors, should you wish to take it diving/swimming/to the beach, or simply change up the look… * It comes as a full set, including boxes (Omega lacquered wood inner box plus the standard white exterior protective box), a travel pouch, a manual, the original hangtag, Pictograms card, Omega cardholder, and papers. The date on the papers is faded, as it was written in thick marker. Anyway, it is out of warranty at this point. Runs perfectly. Also comes with Benisson authentication report. * The three-dimensional effect of this watch and its dial cannot be overstated. Likewise, the fairly uniquely shaped chronograph pushers operate soooo smoothly and are rare to see on an Omega (see photos). * It is an attention-getter among Omega brand connoisseurs…
