Today I’m offering up my Sternglas Hamburg Automatic 42mm. I bought this around mid January, so it’s a little less than 4 months old, and has gotten exactly 7 times on the wrist, according to my spreadsheet.  It’s a wonderful little Bauhaus beauty, and four months ago I convinced myself that I just had to have a dress watch and this was the way to go. Well, with less than two times on the wrist per month, I just don’t think it’s going to fit in the collection. I’m looking to swap it out with an all-black watch that fits my sports watch motif a little better. It’s got a 42mm case size and is ALL DIAL, but has a tight 45mm lug to lug, with 20mm lugs and a 12mm height. It’s for the fan of minimalism but doesn’t want the itty-bittiness that generally comes with it. It’s powered by the Miyota 8215 automatic and is quite accurate, given a budget workhorse movement. It has a 42-hour power reserve. It also features a domed sapphire crystal with double AR coating, and a really beautiful case back engraving of the city of Hamburg. The watch itself is in excellent condition. The crystal is free of any marks, and there is only one small surface mark on the left side of the case, which the camera barely picked up and is almost completely unnoticeable. The strap is in excellent condition, as to be expected with less than 10 wears, and is a very soft and supple cowhide leather. I have seen this watch on a Milanese mesh bracelet as well, and looks like a stunner. Price: asking $375 shipped + insurance to CONUS. There’s only one trade I would consider, a Glycine GL0269 all-black (on bracelet) in comparable condition. I guarantee the form and function of all of my listed watches. If for any reason the item received does not match the description, I will accept a return. I will not accept returns for change of heart though, sorry. I accept Venmo, CashAPP, as well as PayPal. I have several sales here on the exchange and would be happy to provide references, as well as any questions you may have. Thanks for looking!
