For sale today is my Seiko SARB059 “Spirit” Alpinist in good condition. The movement was recently serviced and it’s keeping great time. The rotating bezel has been replaced with a NOS one and rotates very nicely with the perfect amount of resistance.The dial appears black but is actually an amazing emerald green in the right light. It’s stunning in person. Here’s the thing: the case and bezel were pretty beat up, so I had the watch re-cased. The bezel is OEM and in near mint condition. The case, caseback, crystal, and crown are aftermarket, but I believe these actually added to experience of the watch as it made the watch wear thinner and added drilled lugs. The crown is slightly bigger and more grippy for winding and setting the time. The new case has been pressure tested and passed. All new gaskets were installed as well.
