Hi OF

I think it's fair to say that this reference does not come up for sale often. For your consideration is an Omega Seamaster ref. 14363 with a hooded lugs case. Inspired by some nice example shown here on the forum I started to hunt for one myself and bought mine from a dealer earlier this year. However, I came to realize that watches with fancy lugs look better on other people's wrists than mine. Hence, it has not seen a lot of wrist time, so I'm releasing it into the wild again.

Specifications and condition:

Model: Omega Seamaster ref. 14363

Dial: The dial features one of my favorite configurations: non-lume, two-tone and golden hands and indices. The dial has developed a faint patina that reminds me of an eggshell. Depending on the angle of the light, it's more or less visible. I tried to capture it in the pictures below. Bear in mind that the macro pictures overemphasize the patina while it is far less pronounced for the natural eye.

Movement: Calibre 501 a fully automatic movement. The serial number dates it to approx. 1956. It's clean and runs well, but I don't know the service history. I put it on the time grapher and it runs with daily deviation of ca. 20s / day and an amplitude of approx. 250. The dealer claimed that it had been serviced prior to the sale to me, but didn't provide any proof.

Case: Stainless steel case in very good condition with sharp facets on the lugs, which is essential for this reference, and the main reason I bought it in the first place. Hairline scratches as to be expected for the age of the watch, but no major dings or deep scratches.

Crown: Period correct clover crown with the flat feet logo.

Crystal: Generic crystal.

Measurements: 34mm in diameter without crown, lug width 18mm

Accessories: None, the watch is sold head-only.

Price: I'm asking CHF 1400 (or the equivalent amount in EUR or USD) plus shipping. Happy to ship worldwide. No returns unless grossly misrepresented.
Payment through Wise or otherwise bank transfer is strongly preferred. The watch and I are located in Switzerland.

Any questions, please ask. I have plenty of reviews as both a buyer and seller here.
