Omega Speedmaster Apollo XI 3592.50 for sale for $4,500. Watch is running well and is on the original bracelet. Currently sized for my 6.5" wrist with 1 extral link included. Should fit at least 7.25" with the link installed and clasp at its largest position. Bracelet has minimal stretch for its age, as show in the photos. In the late 80's, Omega celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first trip to the moon with this watch, the Apollo XI Speedmaster 3592.50. At a time when few watches had an open caseback, Omega decided to gold plate the moonwatch movement and give it a high horology facelift with côtes de geneve and thick glossy englage on the plates and many other components, then put it on display under an open caseback. Personally, I think it's very cool that they celebrated this anniversary by just stepping up the quality of watchmaking, as opposed to the more in-your-face dial modifications of modern special edition moonwatches. Omega continued making this Hesalite Sandwich under the same reference number for several years, no longer calling in an Apollo XI edition, but this watch is the more desirable anniversary model with the Apollo XI engraving on the caseback.
