Blancpain Leman Flyback 2185f in Titanium | Looking for Trades! Hi all! Thanks for taking the time to check out my listing. Here, I have a Blancpain Leman Flyback 2185f in grade 5 titanium. I am primarily looking to trade this watch on, but I would be open to selling it outright as well. If you don’t know about this watch, then you were me months ago. As I was scrolling through my Instagram feed, one of these popped up in a wrist shot, and I quickly went down a rabbit hole. These were produced for a limited period, and supposedly, only 600 were ever released from Blancpain in the early 2000s. At 38mm and in grade 5 titanium, it wears wonderfully. And, due to the caliber inside—base F. Piquet 1185—it is surprisingly thin for a chronograph. This same movement is the base in some of Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin watches. At the time it was released, it was the thinnest automatic chronograph movement on the market. I obviously love it, so why list it? Full disclosure—I bought two. These watches don’t pop up very often, and when they did in my search, I missed out on a couple offerings. So, when one popped up for sale, I snapped it up… but I left my save search on. Then, a couple weeks later, a freshly serviced, very nice example popped up for sale, and I also bought that one. With no need for both, this is the first example that I came across. It is in honest, unpolished condition. It runs well, and all chronograph/date functions work. I will note that it does have a few marks on the caseback and some wear marks throughout the case. It is a 20 year old watch to be fair. I am happy to answer any questions about the watch, or simply to just talk watches, so feel free to reach out!
