Seiko 7a28-7030 Pogue circa 1983 quartz The “Pogue” is named after Skylab 4 Mission astronaut, thunderbird pilot, and bossman Col. William Pogue. With the NASA approved Speedy on his right wrist, Pogue wore the unauthorized Seiko on his left. While that was presumably the mechanical automatic, the quartz is objectively more accurate (bypasses a lot of vintage chronograph issues) and the Pogue moniker carries to the colorway and chronograph configuration. A fresh battery has been installed and the chronograph is properly, start/stop/resetting.
