I really liked the look of the Dark Manta King Seiko, but wasn't a fan of the flat crystal with the magnifier, or the taller bezel. I modified it to include a double domed sapphire, coin edge bezel, and lumed ceramic bezel that glows blue. Hopefully the photos do it some justice, but it's pretty tough to photograph. The colors are simply amazing and the matching soft rubber strap ties the whole package together really nicely. The indices are applied and the lume is classically amazing Seiko standards. I think the coin-edge bezel pairs really nicely with this piece, and the blue-lumed insert contrasts well with the green lumed indices. I bought the watch new for $375, then the mod parts were a total of $126.50, and $85 for labor from an experienced watchmaker. So all-in-all I paid $586.50 for the watch.
