Hi everyone, This is a rare Exquisite King Seiko Vanac Hi-Beat watch in absolutely gorgeous condition. It has a stunning Vibrant Ocean Blue Fumed Textured sunburst dial with super solid beefy case. Raised Applied faceted indexes. JDM made in Seiko daini factory. Pretty impressive for a 50-year-old watch. Movement has been serviced. Accuracy checked with timegrapher. Running flawlessly. Day- Date complication. This is a beast under sunlight, pictures don't do justice to this beauty. It's pretty rare to see a piece like this come on. This watch is a top achievement of the King Seiko line, described by many as being equal or even superior to Grand Seikos from the 70'. Started manufacturing in 1971, it incorporates the famous 52KS movement, here in its rarely seen best version marked "Special" and certified with Chronometer specs. Unlike the later versions it features instant date change at midnight. They were designed to have premium build quality but within regions of Japan. Handling this, I can definitely guarantee this is far above any modern watches in the same price zone. It has a superior Hi-beat movement. Comes with a period correct bracelet. The polish is insane with sharp brushed lines and mirror finishes. Comes with English and Japanese day wheel. The Kanji(Japanese) date highly complements the dial. Textured 3d Mirror finished electric hand complements the dial. Seiko has always kept these unique colored dials limited and they fetch a lot higher than other color variants of same model. This is a collector's piece. Seiko played more with the dials on King Seiko Vanac line up, these are extremely limited and the textures on dial are unlike any. I tried my best to capture the dial on picture on my phone but it should be appreciated in person for full measure.
