This timepiece represents the last generation of "vintage" or "neo-vintage" Submariners, capturing the original Rolex DNA before the transition to the heavier, thicker, and bulkier designs. This particular example is in excellent condition, appearing to be unpolished and featuring a very clean bezel insert without any visible paint missing or chips. The Rolex coronet on the claps is prominent and raised and is not overpolished – very rare for this model. While the case does show minor wear on the sides and light scratches on the bracelet, but as a whole is in fantastic wearer-friendly condition and in our opinion, does not need a polish or refinish! No service records are included but the watch is setting and functioning smoothly and is keeping time within 5 seconds per day. A one-year warranty on the movement is offered, should it cease to function, providing additional peace of mind.
