For sale is a beautiful Grand Seiko SBGR253 from the Heritage Collection. I just purchased this here on the exchange a couple of weeks ago. I've removed two links to size it and it hasn't even left my house! I wore it for a few minutes a couple of times but that's it. This was a grail for me for a long while and I couldn't pass it up but I guess my tastes have changed as it took so long to find one. I can't beat u/mattmcmhn 's photos so here they are again but rest assured, the watch is in the identical condition shown in these photos. Timestamp below is mine! This is double boxed and includes the Grand Seiko movement certification, guarantee paper, instruction manual, original purchase receipt, and full bracelet. This example was purchased in September 2019. It has amazing presence, with the polished sections of the bracelet and the rest of the zaratsu treatment, while maintaining it's subtlety well due to the restrained size.. My favorite things are the depth of the black and the perfect reflection of the minute marks on the inside of the case as a result of the hand polishing. The SBGR253 utilizes Grand Seikos 9S65 movement, a 35 jewel 72 hour reserve automatic with date beating at 28,800 bph visible through the sapphire display back. The case measures 37mm wide with a 44.6mm lug to lug and is 13.3mm thick, so it has quite a lot of wrist presence. Lug width is 19mm. The case is in near mint condition and shows very very little wear, and the double-curved sapphire crystal is excellent. Looking for $2750 via Venmo or paypal friends and family.
