For sale is a recent vintage pickup I wanted to try, but I really can’t let myself go down yet another rabbit hole. Below is a supremely rad 1960s-era Poljot in all its 35mm goodness. What drew me to this one is its sunburst dial and really cool green lume both at the outside of the indices and on the hands. Fire! Inside is a smooth winding, 17 jewel (I mean, it even says so on the dial!) hand cranker running about a minute fast (you’ll never be late again!) and sitting on top is a beautifully domed acrylic crystal.
