The Tissot Navigator Chronograph is a well-known model. However, the version featuring the famous caliber 2920 (based on the Lemania 5012) is as rare as they come. Instead of a traditional date display, it features a day-date window, with quickset. Furthermore, this variant has the famous “Wood Grain” dial, featuring a salmon-esque color palette. This provides an amazing contrast with the gray subdials and the orange second and minutes chronograph hands, providing high legibility. From what I’ve read, it seems that fewer than 1,000 examples of ref. 45509 were made. The reference is famous for its black bezel ( mine has lost some of its plating). Unfortunately, the piece you see here isn’t serviced, but it keeps a reasonable time of +2 minutes per day. **Details & More** **Condition:** Good. Case and bezel have some scratches.
