Hello Watchexchange, Up for sale is this Seiko Superior (Ref: 4883-8100) from December 1977 The Superior was the top-of-the-line quartz in the mid-70s and boasted a difference of 1 sec per month. Cosmetically, this Superior is in better condition than good (but not very good), so “Good+”. The gold case is almost cap gold quality, that’s how good it still is, but there is a chip on each side of the case which are not visible when wearing the watch. The champagne gold dial is in very good condition. This predecessor of the Seiko Grand Quartz also keeps time well: approx 4 seconds fast per 24 hours, measured by laying flat for 24 hours. New battery since Oct 12th. The gold tone bracelet is aftermarket, but fits the overall looks well. Please look at the pictures carefully and let me know in case of questions and/or remarks.
