A lovely newly serviced 16030 is now up for grabs from an old friend. Since he's not the internet type of guy I'm helping him sell this watch.

When painted Romans are Buckley… A little story telling.

The ‘Buckley’ dial Datejust is a cool watch that acquired its nickname after New York dealer John Buckley who collected these dials and shared them on the Vintage Rolex Forum (VRF).
The Buckley dial features painted black Roman hour markers and this 16030 is fitted with a beautiful blue example, crisp white printing, complimentary white hands and creamy lume.

The case remains in good condition and gives a really nice and honest first impression. The watch comes with its Box, Original Guarantee Paper, Rolex Translation Booklet and Rolex Leather Card Holder. The Guarantee Paper state the watch was sold in Oslo, Norway in 1981.

The engine turned bezel has great definition adding to the overall fresh look of this watch. The Jubilee bracelet, reference 62510h with 555 endlinks. Overall in a good condition, but, with the common 'jubilee stretch'.

The watch was fully serviced a month ago and a new Original crystal was fitted as well.
