Up for sale is a SPB117 Seiko “sharktooth” Alpinist. Never worn outside the house and in excellent, like new condition. While not the most financially responsible decision, I bought both the SPB117 Alpinist and the new SPB379 Alpinist GMT within the same week. I went back and forth on it but decided to keep the SPB379 and sell the SPB117. While the Sharktooth Alpinist wears a bit better (slightly thinner), the GMT Alpinist fit my collection better as I’ve been looking for a daily wear GMT. Please read price options as I would prefer to keep the Seiko bracelet that came with the SPB117 to use on my SPB379. Bracelets can be easily found on Strapcode and Uncle Seiko, just search for bracelets that fit the SARB017 and they will fit this watch as well. Many find these bracelets to be better quality than the Seiko ones and they can be had for around $80. If buyer is adamant about having the Seiko Bracelet, I will sell it and pick one of these up myself. $440: Includes SPB117 on nato strap only. $465: Includes SPB117 on Seiko branded black leather strap with deployant clasp.
