Tudor Submariner 79190 Year: 1997 Price: $6,000 shipped CONUS I have for sale my very nice 1997 Tudor Submariner reference 79190. This is the last reference of the Tudor subs with the sapphire crystal and unidirectional click bezel. I purchased this a couple years ago and have sold it once already last March to help put together funds for a down payment on a house but was able to buy it back a few months later. I have worn this daily but always taken care of it, and it is pretty much my grail watch. I've had it checked by my local watch shop and the movement is healthy with proper amplitude, keeping time at roughly +3 seconds a day. The dial is flawless and the lume has all just started to form a nice eggshell patina to it. The case is in good shape and shows some honest wear consistent of a watch of this age that has been worn often but well taken care of. I'm sure it has had a light polish i the past but the factory bevels are still present and the lugs are thick and even. The solid link bracelet is in good condition as well with minimal stretch and comes with one removable link that fits my 6 3/4" - 7" wrist comfortably on the tightest clasp setting. The divers extension is present and included and the clasp code matches the case serial number, both indicating manufacture in 1997. The crystal looks good as well and is clean and clear of nicks or scratches save for one small mark on the cyclops that is hardly noticeable on the wrist. I've had it pressure tested multiple times and it has passed every time however I strongly recommend having it tested yourself before considering any water use. I am reluctant to sell since this sub is pretty much as good as it gets for me but I need to start looking for a new vehicle. I am asking $6,000 shipped in the lower 48 states and would prefer a feeless payment such ass Zelle or Bankwire, however if you have good feedback and pay the fee I will consider paypal. Cash of course is always accepted and I am more than happy to sell locally here in Austin, TX. I would possibly entertain a trade for a Black Bay 54/58 or SMP 300 2254.50 plus cash on your end to make up the difference, but it would probably also have to be a local transaction.
