For sale is a super rare Cartier Stepped Tank blue dial this is a "pre-must" tank, of which there were twelve or so different models made in the 1970s. The Stepped Tank model was a particular interesting watch and was the last design of the twelve Pre-Must designs. It was the only one of the series which came in a few noticeable different variations depending in which boutique it was made (Paris, London, New York). It was introduced somewhere 1975-76 and came in three similar (but oh so different) references - this one likely a London model based on the caseback - believe that would technically make this a "Jacques Cartier Stepped Tank ref. 471". Historically, these have recently gone for around $2k - $4k depending on model, reference, and condition... a few are even listed online at $5k! I haven't been able to find any with the blue dial so I can consider this one specifically very rare.
