The incredibly rare Omega De Ville Limited Edition Co-axial Chronometer in 18K White Gold. This historic reference houses the very first edition of the caliber 2500 movement featuring the co-axial escapement invented by English watchmaker Sir George Daniels. This example is part of a limited edition of 1000 pieces in white gold introduced in 2000 at Baselworld, shortly after the official launch of the co-axial technology in 1999. 38mm 18k White Gold Case, silvered pan pie dial, applied white gold indexes, luminous Feuille style hands. Comes on original alligator leather band with the original 18k white gold deployant clasp. Movement: Chronometer certified cal. 2500, rhodium plated, 27 jewels, co-axial escapement, flat hairspring, monometallic balance adjusted for 5 positions w/shock absorber. Case condition is overall very good with no major dents or dings. Of course there is some evidence of wear with marks and scratches throughout the bezel and midcase consistent with age.
