The Prince Date Chronograph is, by any measure, Tudor’s take on the iconic Rolex Daytona. But, as Tudor often does, the 79270P is presented with a twist. Produced in the 90s, the Prince Date uses a Valjoux 7750 tucked inside a 40mm steel case. Available in a variety of dial colorings, the Prince Date offers not only a date display at three on the dial but also a very handy 12-hour bezel, which helps to track a second timezone by rotating the bezel so that the difference between the two tones (3 for 3 hours, for examples) is at twelve o’clock. Now you can read the hour of the second time zone via the bezel and the standard hour hand. Not only is it more clever than the tachymeter common to many automotive-themed watches, but it also sets the Prince Date 79279P apart from its Rolex siblings and makes the Prince Date all the more practical.

Condition

This watch is in overall excellent condition. There are light surface swirls and wear marks but no notable scratches. If you require any additional photos please ask.
