[WTS] CONFIRMED! A pair of Rolex Milgauss is in fact called Milgii! Ref 116400GV w/ box & green Rubber B and ref 116400 w/ black Everest & orange rubber
The now discontinued Rolex Milgauss (bring it back!) has got to be one of the coolest modern releases from the crown. Building off its earlier iterations, starting in the mid 1950s with the reference 6451, when Rolex realized there was apparently a decent number of scientists who wanted a Rolex but needed a wee bit more electromagnetic field protection… and it’s been making scientists (and those of us who like to imagine we’re scientists) happy ever since! The modern versions are fun, playful, a little funky - dare I say un-Rolex? And here we have two awesome examples, starting with arguably the most recognizable of the modern versions, the reference 116400GV with that classic green sapphire crystal. M serial from 2008 with a classic black dial, those pops of color (orange lightning bolt hand!) and of course green sapphire crystal. Dial and crystal are both in great shape. The 40mm case appears unpolished, with original lines, showing wear throughout, mostly seen on the smooth bezel and sides. A polish could bring it back to near new but I always opt to leave untouched. Original date code stamped Oyster bracelet with polished center links, 11 in total fitting approximately 7.25 inches. Bracelet looks great, but of course has wear throughout, most notable on the polished center links and clasp. Service history unknown but running incredibly well with timegrapher showing well within COSC at 3 seconds a day and a very healthy amplitude of 319. Comes with original green Rolex box and additional green Rubber B strap with buckle. PRICE: $8695 which will include OVERNIGHT fully insured shipping through FedEx anywhere in the US. Face-to-face deal in the Los Angeles area is always possible, with a small discount offered. Next up we have the classic black modern Milgauss, referenc 116400 also an M serial but slightly earlier, from 2007. This has the stealth black dial but also a bit of fun with those pops of orange. Dial looks gorgeous, the sapphire crystal has a few light scratches seen under loop/ and a few areas of wear but nothing that distracts from that sweet dial. Also a 40MM case, also appears unpolished with original lines, and some wear throughout, mostly seen on the case sides. The original date coded Oyster bracelet has 12 links and will fit up to approximately 7.5 inches. Bracelet looks great as well, but of course has wear throughout, mostly on the polished center links and clasp. Service history unknown but running beautifully, winding and setting smoothly, with timegraphwr showing incredible numbers, well within COSC at 0 seconds a day and a very healthy amplitude of 320. Comes with an additional black Everest rubber strap with buckle, also a plain orange rubber strap, all in an aftermarket watch box. From the bracelet to the two rubber straps, lots of options to dress it up or down for a perfect one watch collection! PRICE: $7695 which will include OVERNIGHT fully insured shipping through FedEx anywhere in the US. Face-to-face deal in the Los Angeles area is always possible, with a small discount offered. No trades, thanks. Payment via Venmo friends and family, Zelle, or Wire. No returns unless misrepresented and it absolutely will not be, I am a passionate collector first and foremost and I go out of the way to treat buyers the way I want to be treated and I’m the buyer. Lots of great feedback to show that! TIMESTAMP 1: https://imgur.com/a/sJcJhX7 TIMESTAMP 2: https://imgur.com/a/6TwYjnV Thanks for checking out this AWESOME pair of Milgii!
