The Longines HydroConquest GMT (ref. # L3.790.4.96.6). Sizing in at 41mm, this is one of the best value for money pieces on the market. This model watch features a “flyer” or, to some, “true” GMT movement allowing you to move the hour hand vs. the GMT hand as with other movements from this family. Along with the “true” GMT function, you get a “true” diver as well with a water resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM). This makes it suitable for diving and other water activities. The stainless steel case and ceramic bezel insert add to its durability and scratch resistance. The 41mm case size strikes a good balance between comfort and presence on the wrist. The balance of proportion with just the right heft really makes this a nice wear, especially when you use the built in micro adjust system. Again, we’re punching way above our weight with this Longines! But as always, the real win with any Longines is the amount of watch you get for your $$!
