Hi r/watchexchange! Up for sale today is my SLA043J1, a re-interpretation of the Seiko [62MAS](https://hairspring.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Hero-3026-1.jpg) that dates back to 1965. It's powered by the venerable [8L35 movement](https://www.seikowatches.com/us-en/products/prospex/8L35), which is an undecorated Grand Seiko caliber (hand assembled in the GS Shizukuishi studio and based on the GS 9S65). To up the ante further, the case is made from Seiko's proprietary "Ever-Brilliant Steel" -- a special alloy used in a handful of new Grand Seiko references and claimed to be 1.7x more corrosion resistant than 316L (and visibly brighter). It all comes together in this amazingly high quality diver, limited to just 1700 examples worldwide.
