While the Lange 1 comes in a variety of precious metals and dial configurations, this example is one of the most classy with its light champagne Argenté silver dial, which, unlike the 95% Sterling Silver, is 99.9% pure silver. At 38.5mm, it’s a rather universal size, while the weight of the gold yields a heft that might surprise you at first. The mix of brushed mid case and polished bezel and edge of caseback make for a pleasant and refined visual aesthetic While the dial layout is stunning and can quite honestly be derived off the Fibonacci Sequence/Golden ratio, the case back is the stuff of dreams; featuring impeccably curated rubies with solid gold chatons to hold them in place, individually heated blued screws, anglage, perlage, glashutte ribbing, the list goes on, essentially you can spend hours staring at the minutiae of the dial and caseback The watch is in overall very good condition with minor flea bites on the bezel and hairlines on the polished portions of the lugs and some on the bezel and tang buckle. The watch does not come with the original box or card but includes the watch, original tang buckle, original brown leather strap, a newer and more fitting OEM, brown leather strap, authentication/appraisal paperwork and the Lange service box.
