For sale is my beautiful Sinn 857 UTC S Pilot's Watch with Full Tegimented black case and black face. The case diameter is 43mm, thickness is 12mm, and water resistance is 20 ATM (660 ft). The black dial features baton indices with arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, & 9. Centered in the dial is a second timezone and UTC display dial and pointer hand. Personally, I love the presentation of the UTC display in center of the face rather than a long pointer with 24 hour index at the edge of the face like so many other watches.

The crystal is sapphire with anti-reflection coating on both sides. The case and bracelet are both stainless steel with black matt PVD coating that has been treated with Sinn's Tegiment technology. The movement is a Sinn 330-1 (ETA 2893-2) self winding mechanism.

This is a complete set and includes everything from the AD - all boxes (inner/outer), manuals, papers, and documents. I bought this watch new for my collection several years ago from an AD and have worn it very few times. Its condition is excellent, and I would rate it at 98% or better. I've priced this watch to sell at $2,850 and that includes two-day shipping and insurance to CONUS ONLY.

Paid in full with Paypal fees after sending multiple immediate references and a word document with multiple references. I get no communication and no references in return. I text and email for some confirmation that payment is received. He refunds PayPal and now it is tied up for several days …

Sinn Spezialuhren GmbH is a manufacturer of mechanical wristwatches based in Frankfurt am Main. The company was founded in 1961 by flight instructor and pilot Helmut Sinn under the name ‘Helmut Sinn Spezialuhren’.

Following its foundation in 1961, the company focused on the manufacture of navigation cockpit clocks and pilot chronographs and sold these through direct selling, bypassing retailers. The clocks and watches were produced according to pilot Helmut Sinn’s specifications in the private label sector in Switzerland. By eliminating the trade margin of the retailers, the company was able to offer its clocks and watches at a lower price than through traditional sales channels.

In 1994, Helmut Sinn sold the company to Lothar Schmidt. Following the sale, he acquired Swiss watchmaker Guinand in 1996. In 1998, he set up a new company in Frankfurt am Main. With this company, he offered brand watches from Jubilar, Chronosport and the newly acquired Guinand. In 2006, he retired from business activity. Since handing over the management of the business to his long-standing employee Horst Hassler, he now acts as an advisor to the company. On September 3rd 2016 Helmut Sinn celebrated his 100th birthday.
