Hi all, letting go of a bit of an oddball Omega Speedmaster, in the best (and most charming) way. This reference has a look that reminds me more of high-end German chronographs than a typical Omega. Honestly, I almost wish it didn’t have the Olympic association, because the watch itself stands completely on its own: classic, beautiful, and extremely refined. The dial is a gloss white, porcelain-like finish with excellent dimensionality thanks to the sunken subdials. Paired with heat-blued hands, the watch really pops in changing light. Case dimensions and proportions are extremely close to a Moonwatch, so it sits perfectly on the wrist and is an absolute strap monster. Inside is the Omega Caliber 3313, a column-wheel, Co-Axial chronograph movement built on high-horology Frédéric Piguet architecture. The watch is running great and just passed a pressure test with no issues. Comes on a Rubber B Crocodile SwimSkin strap (retails for over $300). Includes the tang buckle. No bracelet included.
