Harman was founded in the 30's and quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality chronograph watches. The Harman Chronograph was particularly popular among pilots, as it was accurate and easy to read in flight.

However, despite their success, the company was ultimately unable to compete with the larger watch brands and ceased production. Today, Harman watches are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts for their quality, design, and historical significance.

A virtually identical piece was sold by Breitling around the same time as well. The large for its time 37mm case has a nice presence on the wrist.

The case on this Harman is in very good condition, overall a really nice example. The dial has turned a stunning salmon color and is in very good condition only showing wear on the outer chapter. The hands and markers are in very good condition, showing a beautiful even patina. Service history is unknown but is running to spec.
