This checks off a lot of boxes if you are looking for a nice Grand Seiko high accuracy quartz model — 40mm, 44GS case, 10mm thick, 20mm lugs, 9F82 caliber, and titanium to boot! Grand Seiko produced these for the Japanese market only beginning in 2017 and they discontinued the model around 2021 I think. This particular model is later in the production range around 2019 or 2020 if I remember correctly and was purchased from the Watch Company in Japan according to the receipt in the box. The deepest black dial I have ever personally seen. It can be none more black. Watch is in excellent condition with a few marks on the bracelet and some very fine normal-use scratches on the polished surfaces. Nothing crazy or anything that takes away from the stunning beauty of this piece. Please note, there is a VERY fine hairline scratch on the crystal at the 6 o’clock marker (you can see it in the third picture if you zoom in all the way). It only shows up in just the right lighting conditions and angles, but it bares mentioning. Watch is keeping perfect time because 9F82. This is one awesome GS and maybe the best model example of that minimal Japanese watchmaking ethos.
